So I just got back from a 6 week outing north of Yellowknife NWT. I was up in the winter road camp working on a diamond mine project putting up some new towers for landlines. After working in the 24 hour sun, getting eaten alive by bugs and otherwise enjoying myself I’m home again. I’ve been taking this time off to sort out my plans for my venture back into the online world. I also took a few days to go on a climbing trip to Ghost River…which was a great experience.

In case you’re wondering, the north is well..not quite what I expected. Crystal clear lakes are scattered in every direction, seperated by distinct esters that mark glacial rivers that flowed long ago. Rock bluffs appear out of nowhere and the old lines from the winter road were still visible on the ice when we first arrived in June. I even managed to get some rock climbing in..who would of thought. I pictured a barren flat tundra with little plant or wildlife. At least part of my expectations were accurate - there wasn’t a lot of wild life to be seen.

Anyhow, expect to see numerous updates with upcoming projects, as well as new posts that I have tucked away and will be revealing soon. I have now officially decided to commit myself to this blog and my ongoing projects.

Let the games begin!
